What I build

I work across hardware and software, from embedded electronics and robotics to production backends, APIs, and automation workflows.

I build autonomous systems with Raspberry Pi, LiDAR, ROS, and computer vision, and ship the software around them in Node.js, Python, and modern web frameworks. My work has shipped in robotics, GIS, and disaster-response settings, and has won or placed in competitions along the way.

I like problems that need both a soldering iron and a debugger — where the question is not just what the model outputs, but whether the machine actually stops when it should.

Research Assistant (Full-Time)

EU Centre of Excellence for Climate Action with ICT, NUTECH
  • Working on the HEC-funded NRPU project “IoT-Driven Monitoring and Tracking Framework for Healthcare Waste Management in Urban Hospitals”.
  • Designing and deploying IoT hardware and firmware for real-time tracking, monitoring, and segregation of healthcare waste across urban hospitals.
  • Developing the software stack, including a web dashboard for live waste tracking, analytics, and compliance reporting.
  • Contributing to research activities and technical writing, including project documentation, technical reports, and publications.

  • Built omnichannel CRM integrations linking AI voice bots with WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger using n8n and Make.com.
  • Automated cross-channel workflows to streamline client onboarding and voice-bot-to-CRM handoffs.

IoT Engineer (Full-Time)

  • Built and deployed a GPS-based boundary detection system for golf carts using Raspberry Pi that stopped the cart automatically when it moved outside the defined path.
  • Developed a centralized GIS dashboard mapping administrative boundaries (tehsil, district, mouza, province) and infrastructure networks (cable, telephone, internet) across Pakistan with analytical insights.
  • Automated data workflows using n8n to support real-time dashboard updates and reporting.

  • Developed a LiDAR-based SLAM system using ROS for autonomous localization and mapping of an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV).
  • Integrated LiDAR and OAK-D depth camera for real-time perception, navigation, and obstacle detection in autonomous UGV operations.
